I’m working on a set of candle metal wall sconces….my clients want them Old White to match their newly renovated bedroom!

img_3235-860x573-2

These are awesome in design and style! Curled bottoms, large curved tops! The cuttings in the metal were a bit of a pain….every time I painted one side, I had to go to the back side immediately and wipe away the drips!  These actually took 4 coats of Old White but I think it would have been good with 3 if it weren’t for the cutwork….ta da

I love them! My clients did too! We lightly slightly distressed the metal using our Annie Sloan medium grade sanding pad.

Your turn! Have you tried painting over metal yet? Use your imagination and you can transform just about anything with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®!

Lovely vintage bed we found at auction. So as the title says, you can never go wrong with Old White and Cream color combination by Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®. Its a classic neutral with a splash of yellow buttery cream color.

We slightly distressed on the edges, corners and lovely details of this bid. Just enough to add some dimension.

We had some pretty curves and indentations on the legs so we accented them with cream as well! Now the detailing really pops!

Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® is the best paint in the world and this color combination is one of my favorites! Finished with Annie Sloan’s Clear Wax too! Pretty double or full size bed is available for purchase too.

Louise Blue Dresser with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®. The prettiest lightest elegant shade of blue is encompassed in Annie Sloan’s Chalk Paint® color called Louise Blue. Our elegant dresser can handle all of the attention she is getting in our shop!

18411a-3

Fabulous Pure White was used to highlight her raised trim accents and her carved floral swag at the top!

18411a-7

Just the right amount of accented..it’s always a bit of an art form finding the right balance for accenting your piece. For example, there were 2 medallions on either side of this lovely swag that we painted and when I stepped back I knew it was all wrong for her style! So, no problem, just painted right over them again with the Louise Blue!

We kept the hardware nice and clean and unpainted. We think it works well with her elegant beautify and timeless look! Fall in love with your furniture again, go get some Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® and dress up your dresser!

Prettiest bed ever!  And we did it with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®! So sweet and romantic I picked light colors for this full size bed. Cream and Old White

18472a-3

Then we distressed the amazing raised floral carving in the center and added the tiniest bit of dark wax too! This accentuated the carved floral pattern!

This bed was graced with amazing detailing which we took full of advantage of by outlining and highlighting different beveled and mitered edges!  We love her and we miss her too because she went off the Indiana to her new home! Blessings pretty bed!

Cream and Old White Tranformation

dresser_grande

We used  Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan in Cream and Old white to paint this previously dark maple outdated dresser. After applying the paint, we distressed it using fine sandpaper and at times not waiting for the paint to dry to achieve a faster result. The piece was finished in clear wax.
